Rawson-Saunders Parent Association
The Parent Association at Rawson-Saunders actively
supports the school's mission by focusing efforts in the following
areas:
- Beverly Hall Lunchroom - Clean lunch area 2-3 times per week
- Yearbook - Develop and coordinate annual yearbook
- Hospitality ('Foodie') - Facilitate special events
- Home Room Parents - Help with classroom needs and activities
- Community Service - Identify opportunities for students to provide
services to the Austin community
- Scholastic Book Orders - Distribute, collect and order books
- Box Tops for Education - Advertise, collect and redeem box tops
- Marquee Sign - Keep marquee sign up to date
- Mentors - Help new parents by answering questions and fostering
connections between current and new parents.
- Home Room Parents - Help with classroom needs and activities
- Office Helpers - Assist teachers by making copies
- Teacher Appreciation - Coordinate luncheons, breakfasts and treats for teachers
Other positions that support the PA are Treasurer and Speakers Series coordinators.
