Summer Programs at Rawson-Saunders

We offer a variety of summer programs for children with dyslexia that focus on maintaining skills, exploring new ideas, and having fun.

Soaring Eagles

The Soaring Eagles Summer Academy was developed to help learning disabled students, grades 1 through 8, maintain their language arts and math skills while increasing their self-esteem. Students participate in small group, hands-on activities in math, language arts, organized games/movement, keyboarding, sign language, and science or creative problem solving. Soaring into Reading

Small group sessions to maintain skills acquired during the school year will be offered again this year. This program is for professionally-diagnosed dyslexic students entering 1st through 12th grade.

Students may enroll for either full or half sessions. Classes Monday through Thursday, and will be no more than one teacher to three students, grouped by age and academic needs. Three time slots are available during the day:

9:00 a.m. - 9:55 a.m.
11:00 a.m. - 11:55 a.m.
12:30 p.m. - 1:25 p.m.

Full session, 6 weeks: $960 per session
- June 9 - June 27 AND July 7 - July 25
Half session, 3 weeks: $600.00 per session
- 1/2 Session I: June 9 - 27
- 1/2 Session II: July 7 - July 25
